Physical Exercise

Physical activity keeps your brain healthy, and it staves off two of the major risk
factors for Alzheimer's disease -- high blood pressure and diabetes.

Exercise 30 minutes at least three times a week to keep the blood flowing and encourage new brain cells. It doesn't have to be strenuous activity.
Aerobics are the best: Aerobic means with air or oxygen. Aerobic activities include: (brisk) walking, biking, jogging, swimming, aerobic classes and cross-country skiing. Think of aerobic activity as being long in duration yet low in intensity.

Other good activities for the brain: Ping-pong, dancing, gardening.
